Our mission is to help as many people as possible become landowners, and our referral program is one way we thank the buyers who help us do that.
How It Works
Every current GPL buyer can refer unlimited new buyers. For each one who becomes a qualifying new buyer, you receive a credit equal to the lesser of one full month's property payment (principal, interest, taxes, and note fee) or $250 toward your monthly payment.
A referral qualifies once the new buyer has:
1. Paid their document fee and down payment to secure a property
2. Made at least two months of principal payments, or paid in full
3. Told us your name at the time of purchase
Your credit applies after you have made two consecutive on time payments following the referral.
If a Referral Falls Through
If a referred buyer cancels during our refund window, or is later foreclosed on, no referral credit will be issued, and any credit already applied will be reversed.
GPL may update this policy without advance notice, though we will always honor the terms in place at the time your referral was made and act in good faith with our buyers. Questions or referrals: reach out through our Contact Us page.
